If you are unsure of your child's counselor, please contact our office. Counselors are assigned by alphabet, but there are exceptions. Students should feel free to make an appointment with their counselor when they need advice on any situation. They provide support to all students throughout the year, and have a wealth of information that will help students form their future plans. Counselors meet with juniors and seniors regularly to begin the college exploration and application process. The Guidance Department is located in the main hallway, just past the main office and media center.ĭuring the school year, counselors facilitate various group meetings and individual conferences to address the issues listed above and to help students learn to make good decisions. The Guidance Department assists students in dealing with academic decisions, career and college planning, personal issues, social skills, and other areas, in order to prepare each student to take her/his place in society.
